Rights are things every child should have or be able to do.
All children have the same rights.
I have a right to learn and explore the game through both structured and un-structured PLAY.
I have a right to a safe-to-fail environment, where mistakes are seen as a necessary part of LEARNING.
I have a right to ownership of my own LEARNING and input into practice design.
I have a right to ENJOY the game, for nothing else but the enjoyment of the game itself.
I have a right to EXPRESS myself as a player and person and not conform to adult values.
I have a right to make my own DECISIONS on the field, not adhere to adult instructions.
I have a right to be seen as a child and NOT an ‘athlete’ or ‘talent’.
